Kanwar Gill
Coach
Mr. Kanwar Gill is currently a 2nd year Masters of Teaching Candidate at OISE graduating in April 2020 with an OCT. He graduated from the University of Toronto with a High Distinction in Computer Science in 2016. His ability to learn quickly and attention to detail is eye-catching. He has worked in the industry for more than two years where he imbibed the tremendous technical and professional knowledge. His current interests lie in the education arena with teaching at its core. His strong analytical mind and problem-solving skills are deemed valuable as can be seen in the recommendations section below. His love for teaching made him go for his master's degree to add a crucial skillset that he always wanted: Being a Teacher.

Trent Rossos
Coach
Trent is one of the youth coaches for the FLL robotics team, Ctrl-Z Bayview Glen. Prior to this, he was a member of the Ctrl-Z team for 3 years. During his time on Ctrl-Z, he had the opportunity to compete in 2 FIRST Championships, one in St. Louis, and one in Detroit. He also competed in the North American Open Championship in San Diego, California. Being in FLL has taught Trent to better public speak and to teach students more effectively which he hopes to apply to help Ctrl-Z succeed this season. Outside of robotics, he likes to play Ultimate Frisbee, hockey, and read.

Alex Alexiev
Coach
Alex is currently one of the youth coaches of the FLL robotics team, Ctrl-Z Bayview Glen. Prior to holding this position, he was a member of the Ctrl-Z team for 6 years. During his time on Ctrl-Z, he had the opportunity to compete in 2 FIRST Championships in St. Louis, the International Open in Toronto, the North American Open Championship in Arkansas, and the North American Open Championship in San Diego, California. Being in FLL has taught Alex to better public speak and to teach students more effectively which he hopes to apply to help Ctrl-Z succeed this season. Outside of robotics, he likes to play Ultimate Frisbee, Ski, and bike with his friends.
