We educated ourselves about energy by assigning each member different forms of energy to research and present to one another. Then we identified global issues related to these forms of energy to identify a manageable problem to solve. We subsequently learned about the environmental issues surrounding energy through meetings with experts from Ontario Power Generation and Planetary Technologies, a leader in atmospheric carbon removal. After that, we created a list of problems that we could solve and narrowed it down to one based on originality, feasibility, and degree of impact.
