Jim's career was set in motion at Continental Can Company (CCC) in a management development program. He followed the sales and marketing career path and progressed through the ranks of Packaging Systems. This led to Vice Presidential roles of business units and ultimately to divisional President and CEO. |
Anne Sneyd |
Anne Sneyd currently serves as Director, Brokerage and Supply Chain for Canada Fibers. With over 26 years of recycling industry experience, Anne is creative and resourceful in generating solutions that develop and strengthen partnerships and strategic alliances. Anne holds numerous accreditations including Ryerson Technological Institute - Accounting Program courses, Centennial College – Conversational French Level 1 & 2, PAC Payroll Administration Level 1 & 2, and PMAC Fundamentals of Purchasing; Concepts and Practices. Prior to joining Canada Fibers 10 years ago, Anne spent 16 years working for Cascades Inc. in various accounting positions before progressing into Purchasing and Marketing Materials positions. As Cascades grew into a centralized buying structure for fiber mills, Anne advanced to Corporate Buyer for Recycled Fibres. In this role, she was responsible for buying secondary raw materials for up to seven pulp and paper mills in Ontario and Quebec. In 2006, Anne joined Canada Fibers in a Procurement position, which later progressed into a Sales and Marketing Manager role. While Sales Manager, Anne managed a team that was responsible for both procuring material and selling to consuming mills, an integral part of Canada Fibers’ brokerage operations. In 2015, Anne advanced to Director, Brokerage and Supply Chain, a position that was created to handle the increased demand for procurement and marketing of materials. Anne is proud of her ability to provide her team with a multi-functional leadership approach that cultivates passion, dedication and motivation to produce quality results. |
Darlene Hartung |
Darlene Hartung is in charge of corporate communications and marketing at Canada Fibers. She has also worked with the Chapman group (11 years, account executive), and the AMJ Campbell Van Lines (3 years) working the Sales and customer service(s). She has also worked with Filter Queen (8 years) being the sales representative, crew manager, sales manager, distributor, and as well as the educator. In addition, she has also worked with Molok North America (4 years, account executive), Recycling Council of Ontario (2 years, National Coordinator Waste Reduction Week), Ecoloxia Groupe (2 years, Provincial Account Rep.) and worked as an artist for An Artist For Hire (6 years, teaching art). |
Lauren Camara |
Lauren Camara currently serves as Communications Specialist with Canada Fibers/Urban Resource Group.
In this role, she drives internal communications and external marketing initiatives for Canada Fibers
and its subsidiary company, Urban Resource Group. Lauren attended York University's francophone Glendon Campus from 2010 to 2011 before transferring to Wilfrid Laurier University to pursue an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications Studies, which she obtained in 2014. During her time at Wilfrid Laurier University, Lauren sat on a committee of students as a marketing advisor to the faculty of arts and wrote editorials and columns for an NGO’s national website. She joined Canada Fibers in June 2014 as an Administrative Assistant where she obtained a wealth of knowledge about recycling systems and processes, and learned about the various challenges and opportunities facing the recycling industry. In June 2015, Lauren was promoted to the Marketing and Corporate Communications Department where she was part of the team that spearheaded the marketing efforts to announce Canada Fibers' subsidiary company, Urban Resource Group. Since that time, Lauren has worked to drive internal and external communications and marketing initiatives as Communications Specialist. In addition to Lauren’s professional accomplishments, she is also a published researcher, with one of her senior academic research papers published in an academic journal. While completing her degree, Lauren took a specific interest in the theories of moral panic and the notion of a risk society. Her research, which has been cited by medical officials, government organizations and academics around the world, explores the complex interactions between corporations, policies, news media, marketing strategies and scientific research to cultivate moral panic in a socially-perceived risky society. |
Alan Blake |
Alan Blake is the Executive Director of PAC NEXT. He contributes his 30 years of experience in the consumer goods industry including 20 years of global packaging design and development expertise to PAC NEXT. |
Rachel Morier |
Rachel Morier is the program manager of PAC NEXT. Ms. Morier holds a Masters of Environmental Studies from York University and a Graduate Diploma in Business and the Environment from the Schulich School of Business. |
Ravinder Diwan |
Ravinder Diwan is a Technical Analyst with the Region of Peel in Public Works, Waste Planning. His department is responsible for the planning, development, and implementation of new waste management programs and small capital infrastructure projects. Community outreach, education and promotion of the waste management programs are also responsibilities of this section. |
John Greenway |
John Greenway has been with Busch Systems since early 2011, first starting as Account Manager for the Northwest U.S.A and then later Canada. His current role, as a Sustainability Specialist with Busch Systems, is to assist clients and customers with their various and unique recycling and waste initiatives. Having been in the industry for 5 years now, he has assisted with the deployment of various sustainability initiatives and zero-waste programs throughout North America. Drawing from his past experiences with both the public and ICI sector, he has become a product expert and industry leader on how best to plan and implement these sometimes challenging programs, and ensure both the program’s immediate and future success. |
Jonny Handler |
Jonny Handler works for Urban Waste Recycling and Canada Fibers Ltd. in the role of Business Development and Account Management. His main area of expertise is in creating professional and personalized sustainability programs for businesses and institutions as it relates to waste management and waste recovery.
